About "Vojaganto"

"Vojaganto"ってなにサークル？

Vojagantoは国際交流系たびサークルです！！
日本人だけでなくいろいろな国の人と一緒に国内、国外をたびするサークルです。
自分の知らない世界に実際に触れてみることを目的とします。が、英語に興味があるとか外国語に興味があるとか、旅や旅行が好きとかいう人も大歓迎！！

成り立ち

2006年6月29日、京都大学総合人間学部一回生の岡の呼びかけにより伏木、松村、廣本の計４名で発足。
目的や目標は、自分の知らない世界から来た人たちから話しを聞いて、実際にそのちへ赴き、自分の知ってる世界を広げるというものです。
ですが、それぞれがそれぞれの目的と目標を持ってくれてたらそれで十分です(＾＾)

Vojagantoって何語？

Vojagantoとはエスペラント語で｢旅人｣という意味です。
ほんとはgの上に＾が付いているんですが、文字化けなどを防止するため省いてます。
ちなみにエスペラントとは世界標準語にするべく作られた人工言語です。

なにをしてるの？

もちろん、長期休暇を利用した旅や旅行です！
しかし、それだけではなく、留学生と日本人学生が交流の機会を持てるようにそのようなイベントを企画実行しています。
また、週末や連休を利用して、日帰り旅行や観光や、ドライブなどなど普通に遊んだりもしています。

いつしてるの？

月曜日と木曜日の6時15分から京都大学構内でミーティングをしてます。
内容としては次の旅行の企画や交流イベントの企画、週末の企画などです。
土曜日の深夜12時からチャットによるネットミーティングもしています(＾＾)
週末の企画は土曜日のときや日曜日のとき、一泊のときなどさまざまです。

どこへいくの？

それは僕たちしだいです。
行きたいところを提案してみんなで企画して実際にいく！
無理そうに思っても、できる方法を考えてやります。
今まで(2008年7月1日現在)、
国内では京都、滋賀、奈良、広島、香川、徳島、福岡、熊本、長崎、宮崎、佐賀、鹿児島、沖縄、東京、福井、石川。
国外ではシンガポール、マレーシア、タイ、アメリカ、カナダ、台湾、香港、マカオに行きました。

誰が参加してるの？

今まで(同上)、日本人、トルコ人、スウェーデン人、オーストリア人、オーストラリア人、ドイツ人、カナダ人、韓国人、オランダ人、香港人が参加してくれました。
京都大学のみならず、同志社大学、京都女子大学、京都外国語大学の学生など幅広くいます。
ほんというと学生にすら限っていません。だれでも参加できるサークルです。

What kind of circle "Vojaganto" is？
Vojaganto is an international traveling circle！！
We travel around Japan and the world with not only Japanese but also people from other contries.
Our major purpose is to feel the world that we didn't know. But also those who are just interested in Japanese or likes to travel are more than welcome！！

How was "Vojaganto" formed?
On June 29, 2006, Keijiro, Misaki, Sakura and Nodoka, who were freshmen of Faculty of Integrated Human Studies in Kyoto Univercity formed Vojaganto.
Our purpose and goal is to listen to people from other countries(districts) where we have never been and to go there to see the real world and expand our knowledge.
However, we gradly accept anyone who has their own purposes and goals(＾＾)

What language is Vojaganto？
Vojaganto means ｢traveler｣ in Esperanto.
Actually, the letter "g" should have "＾" above it but we use "g" to avoid any technical errors in displaying our website.
By the way, Esperanto is an artifical language made to be a common language of the world.

What do we do?
Of course, we travel around in long vacation！
Addition to that, we plan and hold events that both of exchange students and Japanese students have opportunities to talk with each other and have a wonderful time.
Moreover, we make a daytrip, go for a drive on weekends.

When do we have activities?
We have regular meeting on Mon. and Thu. from 6:15p.m. at Kyoto University.
In the meetings, we discuss next travel, events or plans for weekend.
And we also have a regular online-meeting by using Chat system from 12:00 midnight(＾＾)

Where do we go?
It really depends on us.
One of us suggests the place to visit then we plan and go!!
Even though it looks impossible at first, we look for the way to make it and do it.
By today(July 1st, 2008) we went to
Kyoto,Shiga,Nara,Hiroshima,Kagawa,Tokushima,Fukuoka,Kumamoto,Nagasaki,Okinawa, Miyazaki, Saga, Fukui, Ishikawa and Tokyo in Japan
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, United States, Canada, Taiwan, HongKong and Macau.

Who is in this circle?
By today(same as above), people from Japan, Turkey, Sweden, Austria, Australia, Germany, Canada, South Korea, Holland and Hongkong joined this circle.
There are students from Kyoto Univ., Doshisha Univ., Kyoto women Univ., Kyoto Foreign Language Study Univ.
Actually, our members were not necessarily 'students'. Anyone can join us!
